This Privacy Statement applies to electronic monitoring products of physical activity ("devices"), to Web sites available at www.morellato.com (individually a "site", collectively the "sites") and mobile apps Sector 850 for iPhone OS and Android OS (individually and collectively the "app"). The devices, sites and apps are collectively referred to in this privacy statement as "Sector services".
WHICH DATA ARE COLLECTED
ACTIVATING A SECTOR DEVICE
When you activate the Sector device, you are prompted to download the Sector app or install the software and enter your personal data. This information is used to generate customized statistics on physical activity. The data are collected and transmitted to Morellato.
CREATING A SECTOR ACCOUNT
To access the data collected by the device from the app, you need to create a Sector account. When you create an account, some personal information is required.
VISITS TO THE SITE
Morellato collects some data from all users who visit the website, even if they do not have a Sector account.
SYNCHRONIZATION OF THE DEVICE
When you synchronize the device, the activity data is transferred from the device to the servers used by Morellato to offer the service. This data is stored and used to provide the services. Every time a synchronization occurs, we also record the transfer data. For example, we record the time and date of synchronization, the battery level of the device and the IP address used during synchronization.
WHAT ARE THE DATA USED FOR?
The personal data of the users of the service are used for the provision of the personal service on statistics on physical activity. This treatment is a fundamental part of the service and is its purpose, so this purpose is mandatory to be able to use the service.
Personal data such as e-mail or telephone address can be used with express consent, for commercial communications on Morellato and Sector products.
The legal basis of the processing is the consent of the interested party expressed during the creation of the account.
WHAT DATA CAN BE SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?
The personal data of the users of the service are not sold to anyone. We share user data only if necessary to provide our services, in aggregate and non-personalized form or with the consent of the interested party.
DATA WHICH ALLOW USER IDENTIFICATION
Data that identifies a user includes the name, or other user ID that can trace the name, the mailing address or email or other data that personally identify a user. We share this information only in the following circumstances:
With companies linked to us by a contract for the provision of services, for order fulfillment, for the management of emails or credit cards. These companies are identified and nominate in the role of external managers of the treatment.
DATA STORAGE TIME
Personal identification data is archived until the user remains a Morellato customer using the Sector app.
HOW TO CHANGE DATA
The data provided via the app can be edited from the panel or in user preferences. If you remove data from the user account, they will no longer be visible to the user and others using the service.
DATA PROCESSING PLACES
The servers of the Services are hosted in China and are subject to local laws. Since the country is not among those for which the European Commission has defined adequacy decisions, processing will only be possible with the prior consent given in the registration procedure. The consent is mandatory to be able to use the service.
Some treatments can also be carried out at the Morellato office in Italy.
